- Cheap shot and uncalled for.
- I once spent a week determining database structures. The reason?
- I had incomplete specs and needed to speak to people and get LOTS of
- details. It was an iterative process and finally, I had something
- that the users and the computer could deal with.
- If I hadn't had communications skills sufficient to deal with
- this (read "If I had been incompetent..."), I couldn't have produced a
- decent product and wouldn't have had anything to do back in my "dark
- room".
